Really?

Ok, so this is way crazier than finding unbelievably cute sale stuff on JC Penney’s website. I just hit up walmart.com and seriously thought it had been hacked or something. Talk about fabulous finds for cheap. It turns our they just introduced a new line of housewares called Canopy- including some pretty amazing lighting, bedding, accessories and furniture (some of which have already completely sold out). But I hunted down some major steals that are still in stock, so feel free to shop your little hearts out. With prices like these, they’re as guilt free as a cup of fat-free sugar-free Jello pudding.

Take this delicious brushed nickel lamp. For a measly $39.88 it’s almost too good to be true. In fact I’d suspect a bait and switch situation if it weren’t for the five star rating by four different happy customers.

And if you’re in need of a serious dose of glam, we think this brushed nickel chandy would look just dandy in a dining room. For just $99.88, you can afford some fillet mignon to complete the whole high-end dining experience.

And if you’re looking for something a little less electrifying, check out this super chic shower curtain for under 19 beans. Makes me wanna wash my hair…

And if your head hasn’t already exploded, here’s another cheap thrill. Rest your pretty little head in style on this plush pillow in the perfect palette (for under 15 smackaroos no less).

And if you’re too embarrassed to be seen on walmart.com, check out canopyliving.com which has all the goods without that tacky blue caps-lock Wal-mart logo.

They’ve got this “30 days of home” promotion going on, which has helped at least one newly-single homeowner (me!) to think of some on-the-cheap ideas:

And lots of “canopy” stuff, too.

Makes me wish I had free decorative reign over the entire house, rather then just my bedroom.

There’s got to be some way I can incorporate a shower curtain into my room, right?

Hey, I think you guys are fabulous and absolutely love your blog. Lots of home design & decor blogs are pretentious but you guys seem the total opposite… which is why I was really surprised by this statement: “…if you’re too embarrassed to be seen on walmart.com, check out canopyliving.com which has all the goods without that tacky blue caps-lock Wal-mart logo.” Too embarrassed? For many families Walmart is their go-to store for home decor. Not everyone can afford Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware. It just seemed a little unnecessary.

Hey Margot,

So sorry to offend! It’s just that here in Richmond there’s much more of an appreciation for Target and Ikea and other places just as cheap as Walmart like HomeGoods and TJ Max. Don’t worry, we can’t afford Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware either!

Sherry- I appreciate your response. And man I’d kill for a Target near me!! Love that store.

Oooh Target’s the best! And you may want to keep an eye on target.com for free shipping sales (they tend to have these pretty regularly) because better than having a Target nearby is having the merchandise come to your doorstep!

I was shocked by this, too! I love it! I’m seriously pondering that lamp. :) Thanks for sharing!

I got a mailing from Canopy and couldn’t wait to dive in and see the other pretty things they had. Well, I was floored when I realized it was Wal-Mart associated! Your other recommendations from Wal-Mart’s website (cool lamps, etc.) have really made me reconsider it as a great place to find pretty things on the cheap.

A few weeks ago I bought these {http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7976187} from the Canopy collection. You can even see my awesome review of them. Love ‘em. And that Site2Store free shipping is the best.
