After months of development, we’re thrilled to introduce a collection of This Young House wares to help you swankify your space. One of the first things we realized the world needed was some well made and well priced art work. And after dozens of people emailed us asking where we got certain prints or photos in our home (all of which we made ourselves) we realized we just might be onto something.

So without further ado, we bring you our SHOP page, which can be perused 24/7 by clicking the “shop” menu tab underneath the header. All of the art work is fresh, original, designed by us and professionally printed on high quality archival paper in easy to frame sizes. With free shipping and secure paypal purchasing, pimping your pad has never been easier.

So whether you’re looking for some cheerful eye candy for your bedroom…

… or a set of four black & white photographs to frame over your couch…

… a soothing sunset (divided into three frames) for your sunroom…

… or a beachy seashell print (or six)…

… a modern sky-blue nature scene for your home office…

… or a sophisticated black & white landscape for the guest bedroom…

… you’ll find everything that you’re looking for (and more) in our SHOP, which currently boasts 27 unique prints and photographs to choose from. So if you’re in the market for a custom dog silhouette or an elegant black and white landscape, look no further. And be sure to send us “after” pics of our artwork in your home. We couldn’t possibly be more excited to provide the icing on the cake when it comes to your space.

I LOVE how you guys just get out there and go for it. Great job! The shell prints are my favorite. :-D

You two think of everything! Love this option. Off to peruse some prints =)

So fun! Everything looks great! :)

nice!!

what -I- want to know is where you got the framed “P” thing hanging above your console table and what the rest of it says, haha. Good luck on your new business venture, btw. Great idea :)

love these!!

My favorite original art that you have is your initials hanging over your bed - I’d love it if you had some options like that.

Wow, you guys have been busy! Very cool!

Hey everyone,

Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re über excited about our little print shop, and it really helps to hear that you guys share in our glee.

Kaylene, of course the framed P above the console table is one of our own creations. I trolled magazines and newspapers until I found the perfect big letter P at the start of an article (I loved the idea of it being surrounded by smaller type) and then cut out a square around the letter and blew it up about 400% at Kinkos on good poster paper. And we’re actually in the process of finding lots of other enlarged intro paragraph letters to offer to people in our shop so you won’t have to wait very long to pick up your very own. It’s sort of our take on a monogram- the copy around the P is pretty obscured thanks to crafty cropping, but you can make out the word “osmosis” and the top of the name “Oscar De La Renta” since we cut it out of one of my old fashion magazines. Fun, no? Stay tuned for other enlarged letters hitting the shop any day now. Note: to see the art that we’re referring to, visit this old post and scroll down to the bottom two pics:

And speaking of letters Laurel, our other take on a monogram (the “J” “and” “S” artwork above the bed) is also something we plan to add to the shop asap. Collecting 26 interesting letters is hard work- but we definitely want each and every initial to be unique for a hip, mixed & matched feel. Stay tuned for those hitting the shop in the upcoming weeks as well! Note: to see the art that we’re referring to, visit this old post:

Very cool! Love the B&W photos - did ya’ll take those?

yay! I’m looking forward to it. I hope the hubby lets me get it ;) do a “B” first, haha.

McGee- Yup, all the photos were taken by either John or I on one of our many adventures. We took the picture of the Alaskan volcano on a sea plane hovering about 50 feet above a giant glacier covered with volcanic ash! And the fire escape photos are from when we both lived in NYC and loved the industrial look of the stairways snaking down the gorgeous skyscrapers. Glad they tickle your fancy! They look really good in black frames with a thick white mat around ‘em. We’ll post pics of them in a room asap for you guys. It really helps you get the full effect.

Kaylene- B has officially been moved up the list. We’ll keep an eye out and hopefully will dig up somethin’ worthy of your hubby’s approval:)

xo,
Sherry
