They Practically Sell Themselves
It’s hard to find humor in the housing market these days, which is why I’ve been appreciating “It’s Lovely, I’ll Take It” even more lately. This always hilarious blog collects photos from real-life, online real estate listings that kinda make you wonder what the homeowner was thinking when they decided “oh yeah, this shot will make the offers come rolling in!” Call it the good, the bad and the ugly of virtual house tours… minus the good part.
Plus, Sara’s commentary makes the ridiculous photos that much more entertaining. Be sure to check it out for a good daily laugh. Here’s a sample of some of my favorites to get you started:
It’s pretty hard to tell which end is which with those fluffy little dogs, but I’m pretty certain that that dog is… um…:
Ahhh… sometimes there’s nothing better than dragging a chair out to the back yard, sitting back, and watching a pile of sticks. Good times:
Maybe, just maybe, they’re covering something up:
“You’re probably wondering why I’ve called this meeting”:
Can you believe these are real photos that people are posting in hopes of selling their homes? Amazing. Be sure to check out more here.

Thank you so much for this gift that will keep on giving - my laugh for today, and tomorrow, and the next day…
I am also in love with this blog. It always brightens my day. ((And, selfishly makes me feel a little better about my own house - shame, shame))
Okay, the one picture with the teddy bears is kind of scaring me. Seriously, I don’t think I could live in a house that has held that many teddy bears.
I blogged about this as well a few days ago. That site cracks me up. When we were looking for our first house, we were looking only at homes built before WWII, and we saw some really, really AWFUL things. I wish I’d taken more photos.
I’m totally in love with this blog, I can’t wait to check it everyday. The caption for the chair with the pile of sticks literally brought me to tears I was laughing so hard. Also loved the one where the washing machine is coming into the kitchen to eat the dish towels.
I’m amazed by the atrocity of the photoshop listing; do realtors really think those look believable?

yeah. this is my favorite blog lately. HILARIOUS. gimmie more, gimmie more.
